- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with new clients over the phone to make sure that I am a good fit for the person and/or couple. I provide details as to what type of work I provide, fees, and overall resources and goals that we can work together towards in meeting what you are looking for in a therapist. If I believe I am not a good fit for what you are looking for at this time, I am more than happy to provide referrals to colleagues that I trust and respect.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have received my Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a Health Emphasis from Santa Clara University. Post-graduation, I have attended numerous training on sexual health where I am currently in the process of receiving my sex educator and sexologist certifications from The Institute of Advanced Study of Human Sexuality located in San Francisco, CA. Additionally, I have training in couples work through the Gottman Institute, stress management/mindfulness training, grief and loss training, as well as hypnosis and my 60-hour domestic violence training.
