- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our prices for the services we offer are by the hour. We also, do not have a minimum hour charge. If the job requires us to travel out of our normal service area we have a small travel fee also.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We find out exactly what they are looking for. Do they need a full service move where everything is provided or do they only need help in some areas. For instance they will pack and unpack themselves but need help to load and unload the truck. We have found that most people that move end up paying for services that they really do not need as well as extra charges for things like stairs and distance to carry their stuff. We try and alleviate all the unnecessary charges and provide only the professional service that they need.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I learned how carry big objects and to load trucks so that nothing can shift during transport from my grandfather. I also started this company in Pennsylvania, where the doors, hallways and stairs are built more narrow than they are in Texas. This means that I have 3 yrs. experience moving large pieces of furniture up and down narrow stairways, through tiny doors and hallways and even move them while snow is everywhere. I have a no damage philosophy that means I truly care about your belongings and will take extra care not to mark up your walls or furniture.
