Introduction: I have vast experience and preparedness which both help the mood of shoot to be relaxed. My sense of humor usually makes shoots a lot of fun. I've been taking photos since I was 15 and I am now 45. It's all I have ever wanted to do and it is what I am best at. Finding beauty in everyday situations is a challenge I enjoy working on.

Mat recently shot our wedding. Ours was the last event he shot before moving away from Austin the next day. I was a bit nervous that he would be too distracted by such a major life event (who wouldn't?) and that the quality of our wedding pictures would suffer. I seriously had nothing to worry about! He got all the shots we wanted as well as some we didn't know we wanted until we saw them! We are still trying to narrow it down to just a few of our favorite shots to print and are having trouble. We even both like most of the pictures of ourselves, which never happens! I would highly recommend Mat to photograph your next important event. We couldn't be happier with how our wedding pictures turned out!

Matt did a photo shoot for my jazz combo promo pack. Came out wonderful. Austin'so music scene is very competitive, and our portfolio stood out and helped us get gigs. Matt knows how to get just the right shot. Would definitely recommend.

Matt was the photographer for our wedding in June of 2015. The photos were incredible! He did a good job of capturing the joy and happiness that we were experiencing that day. I am rarely happy with how photos of me turn out, but this was an exception. Matt was easy to work with and very organized. He knew the shots that we would want and then also surprised us with some of the more creative ideas.

I bought a camera at 15, studied photography in college, graduated Cum Laude, assisted other photogs for years and learned even more. I've taught studio photography at the University of Texas the last 3 years.
