I bring both academic and hands-on professional editorial experience to this late-life business enterprise. As an undergraduate, I was an English and French major whose work on the college newspaper led to co-editorship in my senior year. My editorial skills supported me at early jobs in reference publishing and manuscript transcription and publication before. I undertook graduate studies in anthropology and linguistics at Bryn Mawr College. Thereafter, I worked on proposal development with various teams of behavioral and bench researchers on projects funded by foundations and federal agencies such as AOA, NIMH, NIA, SAMHSA, and NINCDS. I am a careful writer and editor who takes pride in making complex scientific findings accessible to uninitiated readers. I also pursue genealogical research on my own initiative.
