Ysabel Chavez Tutoring

Introduction: Hello! My name is Ysabel Chavez. I am an incoming college freshman at UCLA, and I will be majoring in business economics and double majoring in communications. I would be ecstatic to be a tutor for your family! I graduated at the top of my class from high school, with over 4. 417 G.P.A. as the number-three student. As an incoming freshman who was accepted into UCLA, I know what it means to work hard to see results that will impress any college. There were over 112,000 applicants, and only roughly 9,000 are accepted. With that said, I know what hard work is, and I will absolutely give it my all if you put me up to this task! If your child needs any help with school, I've got you covered! I have a lot of experience and background with tutoring. This past year, I have tutored for several families in subjects including 3rd-grade math, 4th-grade math/English, 5th-grade math, 7th-grade world history and Algebra 2. In addition, I have also provided ACT prep tutoring sessions for an incoming senior in high school, and "How to Win Scholarships" tutoring sessions to a rising senior as well. Furthermore, I have also tutored at an elementary school during their after-school program "Bridges," working with younger students with ages ranging from kindergarten through sixth grade. With all of these various tutoring jobs, you can bet I know how to properly tutor, communicate, and teach just about any subject! I am very friendly and personable as well. I have taken several math classes including Algebra 2, Trigonometry, PreCalculus, AP Statistics, and several AP (Advanced Placement) courses including AP English Literature, AP Economics, AP European History, and many honors courses including honors biology, chemistry, physics, physiology, English, and world/US history.
