FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are a lot of different factors that are considered when creating a bid. Where's the location of the project? What's actually being done? How long with the project actually take to complete? Is there any drying time to consider? Is it a tight or awkward space? All of our best efforts are made to give each customer an accurate estimate that will fit within the customers budget and still allow for us to pay our own bills. It's important to remember that some projects that may seem little may also include fees such as permitting, disposal, or even extra man hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer we like to meet with you to personally discuss your project and see the space we're working with. While we can always attempt to give you a estimate site unseen sometimes that can be unrealistic. Having a good understanding of what the customer wants is important to us so we can give them everything we've got to bring their vision to life. Once we've seen the space and understand what it is the customer would like us to provide for them we will work up a bid. Bids will typically be sent to the customer in 24-48 hours depending on the complexity through our Quickbooks software. If the bid is acceptable the customer can simply accept it electronically, at which point we will reach out to schedule work to begin and collect any necessary deposits. Once work begins we will check in regularly to ensure everyone is happy with how things are progressing and make sure no changes are needed. When work has been completed and everyone signs off on the final product final payment will be collected and the customer will hopefully give us a review on Google or through Thumbtack.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years experience doing remodels and installing windows, working for other companies before recently going into business for myself. I have a can do attitude for almost all projects and customers can be assured their project will be done quickly and correctly the first time.
