This professional, Billy, followed up after the winter freeze. He called me proactively from an earlier fall request. He was able to schedule me a few days out on a weekend. He called to see if I was available earlier on a Friday and completed the work in less than two hours. He came during his appointment window with proper equipment ladders and priced the job fairly using a linear foot method. ( Previous companies did not have big enough ladders and were delayed or declined and charged by the number of people and time) It was a bit more than I previously but it had been several years since my last service and was in the range for a large home. I was pleased as my wife was available to handle the transaction while I was resting having had eye surgery earlier in the day. It turned out the next week forecast was for rain all week and the gutters are clean!! His invoice had a drawing of the gutters serviced and was clear to understand. He is confident in his work and asked me to put my experience on this site. I am glad he contacted me and I got this off my todo list! I recommend Billy Forsyth and will use him again. Looks like the weather closed in and the roof cleaning will have to wait till Spring. In the meantime, I have a small construction job (put up one of those steel white shelving units) in my garage and replace the dryer vent hose. Important safety issue here. Thank you for coming by on Sunday morning. It was much appreciated. Billy, please give me a call...this is easy indoor work. Thank you.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally charge about $150 per linear foot of gutter for cleaning. Moss removal is hard to estimate for without seeing the project as every roof is a little different. We offer discounts for Military, and Senior Citizens. Any place outside of Anchorage does have a fuel charge.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Normally we do an estimate first and then from there, we talk final price and then if hired we do an excellent job!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified in OSHA 10, CPR, AED ad first Aid. I also have had extensive training on fall protection and safety practices in a labor environment.
