I do a wide variety of business and transactional related work for my clients. I form new business entities. I advise entities on a wide variety of contracts. I assist businesses with agreements among the owners to implement buy/sell and other arrangements among the owners. I assist businesses with structuring or restructuring to meet their business, tax and ownership succession plans. I represent businesses that are purchasing or selling assets or merging with or into other entities. With respect to real estate, I assist clients in all aspects of purchases & sales, tax-free exchanges, investment deals, real estate management, and real estate financing.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I advise anyone looking to hire a transactional attorney to look beyond website profiles. Meet with the attorney in person and ask him or her about their experience. Don't be afraid to ask the attorney for the names of satified clients. Ask these references not only about the attorney's competence but about their personality and manner of dealing with clients.
