- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing of our products and services vary. First and foremost, we are a content driven company that need all written content and the product/service in order for me to proceed to the creative session. "Seeing Is Believing." That tag expression is what we will present to the consumer, therefore we introduce to you our "marketing design packages" that consist of the following 4 items: 1.) All in one Marketing Package. Website, Video commercial, Photography, 500 Postcards, fb page setup, youtube page setup, vimeo page setup and 1,000 free business cards. This package is a must have for all start-up and existing companies. 2.) The Paper Medium Marketing Package consist of 2,500 full color postcards, 1,000 full color flyers, 100 11X17 posters, 1,000 brochures and 100 presentation folders. 3.) The DVD Online Marketing Package consist of 2 commercials, 1 in-house presentation video, a video social cam, live hands on class on video shooting and 5 tips on how to market video online. 4.) Trade show booth with logo table cloth, 2 pull ups, 1,000 flyers, 500 postcards and *1000 packaged video presentation DVD's *DVD quantities can be reduced to 100.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Being a teacher in a high school academy, I am constantly on the cutting edge in my profession. Design & Marketing is based on two principles: See it! & Say IT! It's that simple, but there's more to the formula than those 4 words. Continued education consists of ongoing seminars and advance studies in the communicative arts in today's hi tech society. Our way of establishing the "visual language" allows us to organize and understand our external world at large. We also are trained and retrained by today's consumers, but also we are to be trained to spot the discrepancies between form and content. Design for marketing and communicating to the consumer serves as a service and at that point, I am willing to learn, instruct perspectives that will increase unforeseen inspirations that may sharpen and uplift the designed directive of that product or service that is based on the clients valued principle and/or service.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to enter this market when I was in radio as an announcer which grew into marketing promotions of radio commercials and public service announcements. I spent 2 years as a cameraman and after a few stations closed, I realized that the stations were using marketing techniques that were outdated and formats that did not resemble the "target daytime audience" which heavily consisted of women. Programming was the downfall of those networks and when I was called upon to introduce my proven marketing techniques for the radio format, it was over for those stations, but was widely received by radio listeners in the end. With that said; OMJ Media Design was born out of those experiences. My client base is mostly women and a few men owned companies.
