FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to watch and help my aunt clean when I was about 8-10 years old. She kept everything super clean and tidy. Even at that young age I was praised for how well I could sweep because I would move things and get into corners when most adults just hit the middle of the floor. At 10 years old I started working for an elderly lady across the street and would clean her house for $8 which I thought was great! I loved helping her and realized I did a good job so I picked up a job with a pro cleaning co. when I was about 20 and learned even more from them. Its been something I have done on and off my whole life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Feel free to ask any questions you feel necessary, after all this person will be in your home which is your personal space.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Its not an easy job. Its works every muscle in your body to clean a home and clean it well. We are more than just "maids", most of us love our work and the people we work for, we can also be a counselor, buddy, and can become like one of the family as I have with many past and present employers.
