FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a single mother supporting her children, I understand that everyone needs help sometimes, and it would be a shame to let the next Mozart languish in a world where money acts as a gatekeeper. For that reason I will offer discounts if someone wants music lessons and the fees are a problem.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we have a get to know you session at a discounted rate $35 for 30 minutes. I like to find out what type of music interests the student, and we learn music basics and a few easy songs in the very first encounter. Over the course of the first month I determine what learning style I think will be best for the student and we begin planning their musical journey.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For over 40 years I've been singing and playing multiple instruments. I am a classically trained pianist, vocalist, and flutist. I also grew up in a Gospel music family. The last decade, I have been directing a children's choir for St. Paul's UCC in Pennsylvania and offering a private lessons.
