My lessons are always catered to my student's interests and goals! I have 20 years of teaching experience, including the last 10 years teaching music at the University of Wyoming (in addition to my private lesson studio), that experience has brought me to place where I can see the unique talents, as well as the individual strengths and weaknesses of each student - from there, I can form a plan with you and for you that will help you learn effectively, as well as to practice more efficiently, so you can flourish and become a proficient musician and guitarist while enjoying the journey along the way.
Without a doubt I love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else. I get up every day excited to go to work because I know I get to help people become better at something that can bring themselves, and others around them so much enjoyment!

I've really enjoyed my lessons with Ryan. He is very talented and has wonderful passion for playing and teaching. Is great at communicating and has been flexible with my work schedule. Ryan customizes practice material and recaps lesson and sets practice goals. I highly recommend Ryan to anyone looking for a guitar teacher. Ryan is an excellent teacher. He is very patient, knowledgeable, and makes playing guitar fun.

After our first session we are excited to continue on this learning journey. He was helpful with my son who is just learning not only the guitar but everything that goes with that. He got him started with all that he needs and a plan to what will help him be his best. Even though the first visit is the technicality part my son is super excited to play some tunes :)

I am an adult guitar beginner and my lack of confidence shows most days. Ryan has helped me to grow in my confidence even when I am struggling to catch on to techniques, he has great patience with new players. He is always focused on ensuring I am getting what I need as well as helping me to progress. I would recommend him to anyone with the desire to learn and is willing to put the time in!!

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are very reasonable for this market. My half hour lessons are only $25 and then full hour sessions (which some people prefer) are just $50.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I teach guitar lessons and also perform a great deal at different venues, festivals, and colleges around Colorado and the U.S. My weekdays are dedicated to teaching and my weekends are spent gigging - I truly love what I do!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently recorded and released my very first album on a major record label - I had released recordings in the past but they were all on my own independent label. To see this latest project come to life and to have the backing of the Dazzle Recordings label has been such a blessing. I put my heart and soul into the project and can honestly say this is one of the only times I have been completely satisfied with one of my records; I'm my own worst critic so to finally feel good about a project as a whole puts a smile on my face. Sometimes that hard work does pay off. ;) The album is called "Big Slick" and can be found on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify etc. and wherever else you can think of that you like to get your music.
