FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I continue to learn new modalities and approaches to various conditions that I face with clients. Every 2 years we are required to earn 18 hours of continuing education credits to maintain our license. I look forward to every opportunity to learn more about massage and what is going on in the field.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in athletics growing up and throughout college. I developed a chronic injury during college that only therapeutic massage helped. It intrigued me and I began asking questions and looking into the field of massage therapy.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with many clients who have quite active lifestyles. Whether it's a mother of 3, professional bodybuilder, triathlete or one who works at a desk all day - each experiences pain and discomfort. I don't have one set way of approaching every client. I talk to them and listen to what is going on in their life and customize the session according to their feedback.
