IMX Pilates offers an elite method of mat and reformer Pilates in the charming Biltmore/Arcadia area. I provide an athletically inspired workout, built through a total fitness approach, which marries the muscle toning and lengthening benefits of Pilates with elements of strength and cardio training -- increasing flexibility, endurance and muscle tone while strengthening the spine and abdominal core. Sessions on the equipment are fun, challenging, and range from therapeutic to athletic, personalized to your goals.
I have been with IMX since 2010 and am very knowledge in how to successfully train my clients and help them reach their potential. I have always had a passion for exercise and wellness, influenced by a history in competitive gymnastics. I followed this passion in my college studies, obtaining first a BS in Exercise Science from ASU, laying a strong foundation in understanding and analyzing human movement and then a BS in Dietetics from ASU as well. My experiences in various fitness methods, sports psychology and physical therapy help me effectively train my clients to use all three levels necessary for successful results: the emotional (mindset), the spiritual (motivation) and the physical (movement). Regardless of fitness level, injuries, or experience, I will tailor your workout to make it engaging, safe and effective.
