- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate for all of my services. I shop for quality clothing and accessories that will maintain a polished look. I take advantage of sales and discount outlets whenever possible to maximize your clothing budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is very helpful for me to see my client's current closet and take a look at clothing, shoes, jewelry and purses. We assess each item for fashion value to see if it might be incorporated into a new outfit by adding something. We make a targeted shopping list of needed items and I shop according to a client's taste level and budget at various sources. I bring merchandise to a customer's home for a personal styling session. We mix and match to get the right combination of pieces and I return the rest. We then do seasonal updates to refresh the wardrobe and keep it relevant for the customer's lifestyle, travel plans and activities.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend fashion shows, brand seminars and read the fashion press to stay current on design and new fabric technology.
