Robert was awesome! Took the time to evaluate our specific needs and offered several options that worked out brilliantly. He did the work on a Sunday and it looks and smells wonderful. He also gave me a very reasonable quote for cleaning my tile floors. We'll be scheduling Robert again.

Daniel has just completed cleaning our family room carpet and has cleaned our entire first floor tile and recolored the grout. Having had other professional big name carpet cleaning services in the past, the job Daniel did for us was beyond comparison. The carpet now looks brand new, as does the tile....he did a fantastic job, and was very professional and diligent!! We highly recommend his services....you will not be disappointed!!

We hired Luis to clean the grout and tile floors that were in our kitchen, dining room and bathroom. Luis responded immediately and after a brief phone conversation to get some details he and his son were at our condo within hours and did an excellent and very thorough job! The floors look like new! I would highly recommend them and would hire them again.

After our upstairs toilet leaked through the bathroom floor/garage roof, Charles was able to quickly repair the roof and replaced the baseboards in our bathroom all for a very reasonable price. His work speaks for itself, he took the time to ensure that our baseboards and the caulking on the tile floor matched as close as possible, his technician Jaime did a great job texturing the garage roof. Overall we are very happy with the work that was done, Charles was very knowledgable, professional and we highly recommended taking advantage of his services.

Ivan and his team removed over 2000 sq ft of old flooring to replace it with faux wood tile. The tile work looks excellent! We are very pleased. Ivan was responsive to any concerns we brought forward and addressed the issues immediately. There were no hidden costs, estimate was honored.

ClearPro did an excellent job cleaning my carpets. Very professional and friendly. I had my garage door worked on the day after I had my carpets cleaned, and the workman tracked in heavy black grease onto my newly cleaned carpets! I called ClearPro and they sent Robert right out. It was amazing that he got that heavy black grease out, he was a miracle worker.

      About

Arizona Granite and Tile Outlet provides high-quality tiles and products at affordable pricing. Our experienced sales team will help guide you in selecting the perfect granite or tile for your new project. We stock all types of floor, wall, counter tile, and granite-slab countertops -- everything you need to create the perfect project at outlet prices. We specialize in the most modern pieces of granite and tile to ensure that you are happy with your selection for years to come. Let us help you. Marble is one of the most beautiful types of stone in the entire world and has been used to create incredible buildings and monuments. Marble is a natural, soft, and porous stone with inherent variations, creating a unique project. Marble is known for the beauty and elegance that it creates through the veining and color variations. Slate is a beautiful, natural stone with a vast array of colors. Each piece of slate has a unique character, creating a one-of-a-kind project for interior and exterior surfaces. Slate is a porous material with the capability to absorb liquids, so it always needs to be sealed. Tile Outlet Always In Stock® locations carry two types of sealers for slate. One will not change the color of the slate, while the “wet-look” sealer will enhance the color and add shine to the slate. Granite is the earth’s second hardest mineral, making it a durable building product. It has beautiful, natural color variations and a uniqueness that is created with each piece. Granite is typically a speckled stone, although it can be directional, creating an added beauty. As a result of the hardness and natural composition, granite serves many functions. Travertine is a beautiful natural stone that began as a limestone, and through a process of thousands of years, it has changed (through heating and cooling) into a travertine. The variations in the color of the stone create a unique project. This product is typically found in high-end homes and creates an environment that is very eye-pleasing. Travertine has natural voids, which are either purchased, unfilled or filled.

      Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

How can I get my grout clean?

Dirt, mildew and grime can make your grout lines look downright tragic. If you have the ability, DIY tile and grout cleaning is definitely doable. Your main obstacles are time, project size, availability of the right materials and effort. Your first step in tile and grout cleaning is making sure the surface area is cleaned of basic dirt and buildup and wiped down. Be sure not to use a bleach-based cleaning agent, which could react dangerously with the vinegar used in later steps.

Depending on the delicacy of your tile and grout, it may be wise to start with water and friction before proceeding to a cleaning solution. In the shower you can spray the area while brushing gently, or use a spray bottle filled with warm water on countertops or floors. If water won’t do the trick, try a solution of equal parts warm water and white vinegar, and repeat the gentle brushing motion. This combination should begin to lift dirt and grime from the grout. For additional tile and grout cleaning power, baking soda applied directly to grout lines and sprayed with your water vinegar solution can help suds off sticky grime. If your DIY cleaning solutions aren’t doing the trick, store-bought sprays and pastes may have more cleansing power. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning and enjoy your sparkling clean grout.

Tile and grout cleaning supplies include:

      • Old standard or electric toothbrush
      • Stiff bristle brush
      • Spray bottle
      • White vinegar
      • Commercial grout cleaner

How much does it cost to clean tile and grout?

The national average cost for tile and grout cleaning ranges from $190 to $250. Pros may charge a flat fee or by the square foot. Rates can vary depending on the type of tile and grout you have (more delicate tiles may mean specialized products or careful handwashing), how dirty your tile and grout are, and what part of the country you are in (regional labor rates and costs to do business affect costs). For example, one floor cleaning company charges 75 cents per square foot for tile and grout cleaning for projects that permit cleaning by machine. Another company may charge $30-$50 per hour for hand-cleaning of tiles. Companies often charge a minimum fee for services to ensure their business expenses are met when they accept a job, no matter how small. In addition, a tile and flooring cleaning professional may charge added fees, such as $25 or more, to move heavy furniture or appliances.

How do professionals clean tile and grout?

If you need tile and grout cleaning and don’t have the time or mobility for scrubbing your entire house on your hands and knees, it’s time to turn to the pros. Tile and grout cleaning professionals have industrial-grade machines designed for the sole task of cleaning the porous materials of grout and tile. Typically, a cleaning pro will come out to assess the job and provide you with a quote. Often they charge per square foot (for example, 75 cents per square foot), with higher prices or an hourly rate for areas that will need hand cleaning. The national average cost for tile and grout cleaning ranges from $190 to $250. Once onsite, the pros thoroughly clean the area by wiping or sweeping down and then vacuuming up any dry dirt. Next a chemical tile cleaner is sprayed over the surface, causing dirt to loosen and adhere to the spray; the industry term for this is “suspension.” The pros then clean the floor with professional-strength machines, which often use a combination of steam, brushes and vacuum to loosen, agitate and lift entrenched dirt. Your floor is then rinsed, removing all the spray. Usually a small room can be cleaned in under an hour. Applying a sealant afterward is recommend and will also affect cost.
