Did a great job removing a wall and building in a closet. Very messy job, but overall did exactly what we were looking for. *CNC removed the wall, touched up drywall and built closet. Flooring was done separately.

Details: Single room remodel • Bedroom • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • No, the project is not covered by an insurance claim • Within the month

I’m glad I chose CNC Homes for this project because the work they did was fantastic. The quality of the work is everything I wanted and it was really reassuring to know that everything I addressed was taken into account. Fantastic job!

CNC Homes did an amazing job on my home project. They were very professional while still thoughtful and helpful that I look for in a quality company. They were flexible and timely with their work. I would recommend them to all my friends.

I feel so disheartened to write a review that is hurtful to anyone. However I feel like it is my responsibility to protect anyone else from experiencing what we went through. I’m going to stick to the facts. CNC Homes LLC is a new company that’s only a couple of months old. We received a quote for $3k to divide the large room in half, dry wall it and re-do the outside siding and ceiling of the patio. The owner, young man, Kimball, acted like he knew what he was doing and talking about. We met the other owner of the company (Kimball father) and he yelled at my partner. He hired 2 people who did work for us in a laundry room that attaches to our backyard. We thought they would do quality work that was better than we had as the old siding was warping badly and put up in 1967. The nightmare started when the 2 men they hired started replacing the siding in a way that our contractor of 25 years said was “the worst job he has ever seen.” We brought the terrible work up to Kimball and he kept saying, “that’s how it was before. With some caulking and paint it will look ok.” -the drywalled around the lighting openings and switches so you can’t put a faceplate. -the cut the holes wrong on the siding and just used the wood anyway. -the trim around the windows and doors where the corners meet we’re not cut to match up and go together. -we’re concerned if the plumbing and electrical was done to code. -don’t put the gas line in the box it’s coming out very far. -the list goes on and on. Worst of all Kimball didn’t apologize or try to make it right. There’s one thing to hire people who don’t do professional work it’s another to not take responsibility for the people you hire. My wish is that he learned from this and others don’t pay for unprofessional work that has to be redone. This cost us a lot of money, time, and energy. We have to rehire a new contractor who does professional work as quickly as we can. I’ll include pictures so you can make your own decision.

CNC Homes LLC's reply
Hello Darlene! We are sorry things did not work out between us :( The 2 men were employees of CNC Homes and we have employed them for a long time, recently their quality of work has been going down hill and despite multiple warnings they would not improve.. they have been fired and will no longer be employees of CNC Homes, we require a higher standard of workmanship. Unfortunately the pictures of the work you posted were unfinished work and can't account for the work CNC has done in the past and the good work we strive to do We do wish proper expectations would have been set as to how you wanted the work done differently then what was previously there, and we will change our estimating model to include more detailed expectations of work since we cannot know those things unless disclosed to us Best of luck with the continuation of the remodel! We sincerely hope the next contractor will be able to get the job done for you
