- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We got started in this work because we’ve always enjoyed grilling and spending time outdoors with family and friends. Living here in Arizona, we realized how many homeowners had great grills that just weren’t functioning the way they should - either dirty, underperforming, or needing simple repairs. We saw an opportunity to help people get more life, better flavor, and more enjoyment out of their grills. That’s what inspired us to launch Bar-B-Clean: a locally owned, fully insured service focused on clean, safe, reliable grilling for our community.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently helped a homeowner who was completely convinced their grill was finished and would need to be replaced. It hadn’t been heating properly, the ignition was stubborn, and the inside hadn’t been cleaned in years. They were already pricing out new grills and installations in the thousands. When we arrived, we walked them through what we found, cleaned everything thoroughly, replaced a few worn-out parts, and handled the repair work - all for under $500. In just about 2–3 hours, their grill went from “hopeless” to fully functional again. The best part was seeing their reaction when it fired up perfectly - they were genuinely shocked and excited to know they didn’t need to buy a new one after all. Those are the moments we love most.
