FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer flat fees, but every project is so different. We need an idea of what the client needs before giving them a firm, flat fee. The last thing we want is to be off on the pricing (either too high or low!). Our pricing is very reasonable. For murals, we tend to charge $20-30/sq ft, but even that is flexible based on the content. If you have multiple walls or murals to contract for, we are open to providing some sort of discount. For children's books, each individual illustration can range from $100-300 depending on style, complexity, etc. There are so many factors to consider with pricing, so we encourage you to have our discovery call to see if we can make it work for you!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer having a call and taking notes while we chat about what the Client needs. From there, if we decide to move forward together, we do a contract to fully protect both sides as well as a 50% up front deposit to hold space on our calendar.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Jeremy finished Art School in 2014, and he has a Bachelor's Degree in Media Arts and Animation. He is a Character Designer by trade, so it's his job to emulate whatever style you are looking for - this tends to be a unique feature for an Illustrator and partly why we believe Jeremy has been so successful in his career. Jeremy continues to sketch and study tutorials on a regular basis. Additional training: He's attended Disney figure drawing classes and digital painting seminars. He's also taken community college drawing/painting classes.
