I am fast, attentive to detail, patient, willing to revise, experienced, professional, and I can produce ALL types of artwork. My passion is to put ART on walls. Besides that, I've designed hundreds of children’s books, logos, portraits, and apparel designs. I'm a Character Designer so I'm open to painting and illustrating just about any style you can imagine. I am also highly knowledgeable within the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, etc.). I have been drawing most of my life and designing for well over 15 years - my creative well never runs dry! I love using a God-given skill to develop something (from nothing) that brings joy to others all while solving their design needs.

I chose these 3 descriptions, because I felt assured by the professionalism of both Jeremy and Erika. Erika kept us to a schedule. I thought Jeremy's illustrations were like he read my mind, and when I requested minor changes, he responded quickly and without a fuss. The work quality was excellent. I hope to work with them again.

This is my first children's book. I initially was working with another illustrator and the experience was not very good; so, I was back searching for another. I stumbled across Thumbtack and Jeremy Wells. I can't say enough positive things about Jeremy (Artist) and his wife Erika (Administrative Support). Responsive - I received almost immediate responses from Erika and Jeremy with questions. When things were best answered verbally, I always received a phone call from Erika. Having been burned by a previous illustrator, I was cautious. However, Erika quickly put my worries at ease and met my questions and concerns with understanding and kindness. When I had revision requests, Jeremy made corrections right away. Never got defensive or argued about why I wanted things a certain way, just honored my requests doing EXCELLENT work! Quality for the price - I initially wanted lots of detail and characters on each page. The price quoted was certainly fair, but more than I had budgeted. Jeremy offered creative suggestions that actually provided a much better book in the end and fit within my budget. In fact, I was surprised to see so many cute details that I thought would be omitted, stay in the book! Professionalism - From start to finish, Erika and Jeremy were nothing but professional in every aspect of the illustration process and business side of things. I appreciated the detailed contract I was sent that protected both me and the illustrator. The phone call Erika made to answer contractual questions and help me better understand the pricing structure was so incredibly helpful and put my mind at ease. If you are looking for an illustrator, look no further. Jeremy and Erika are the absolute BEST!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer flat fees, but every project is different. I need an idea of what my client needs before giving them a firm, flat fee. Most all of my clients will confess that my rates are very reasonable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer having a call and taking notes while we chat about what you need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've taken community college drawing classes. I did finish art school in 2014 and I have a Bachelors degree in Media Arts and Animation. I continue to sketch and study tutorials. I've attended Disney figure drawing classes and digital painting seminars.
