Introduction: With every structure you start at the bottom and you work your way up, the same goes for the services industry I started as a busser cleaning tables than to cook than to server and once I finally got behind the bar I was back at zero. Enter the life of a bar back, the purpose of a bar back is to make the bar tenders life easier your a multiplier you make it possible for them to be in multiple places at once so you can imagine how much grunt work you have to while the bartenders do half the work and make twice the money. It wasn't pretty but I'm sure glad I had that experience because it taught me that when I do make it as a bar tender I'll remember all the hard work it took to get here and not to take it for granted. So to answer your question years of fighting to get myself to where I'm at is what makes me stand out I know what hard work is and I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty. The interaction with customers, everyday I have a new story to tell it's seriously one of the most underrated thing in the service industry. I also love flaring (throwing bottles in the air) I'm not Tom Cruise status yet but I'm slowly learning.
