Ray is amazing and full of intense knowledge. He connects to what you say and what you are feeling. As a lesbian couple, my wife and I were looking for a woman therapist but feel incredibly lucky to have found Ray instead! I instantly felt welcomed and accepted. From the first session, I have left our sessions uplifted, hopeful, inspired and more connected to my wife than ever. I couldn't ask for someone more perfect to help guide me in my life. I appreciate you Ray!
She is a a great therapist.
I'm only leaving 4 stars instead of five because we did hire Rosa but have only seen her once for couples therapy. Her office deserves 5 stars because it is centrally located, quaint and very welcoming. She is friendly and welcomed us with open arms. She was easy to talk to and we look forward to more sessions with her. Hopefully with a little work from the both of us and professional guidance from her we'll get our relationship back on track. Another plus is that she has a doctorate degree and specializes in family and couples therapy and seems very knowledgeable of the whole process. She contacted me promptly and made the whole process of paperwork and appointment setting very easy. Overall, 5 stars so far!
I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease about three years ago. It came as quite a shock. I’d never really been sick before, but now I felt as if I’d been given a death sentence. At first, I tried to remain positive. I joined a “Parkie” support group and my wife joined one for caregivers. Most of the people in my group were a lot worse off than I was. You’d think this would make me feel better but it didn’t at all. I started getting more and more depressed. My doctor and the people at the Parkinson’s Center were very supportive but they didn’t offer counseling services. I was also scared about taking an anti-depressant that might interact with my Parkinson’s medication. Finally, I reached a point where I was so depressed my wife got scared I might kill myself. She insisted I find a therapist and asked around until someone told her about Ilisa. My wife went with me to the first appointment. I got a good feeling about Ilisa during that meeting. After that, I continued on my own. Therapy with Ilisa has been extremely helpful. We’ve been working on a few different things. First, she showed me how to use mindfulness techniques that enabled me to stop obsessing about my symptoms or spend hours on the Internet reading about Parkinson’s. She also helped me get some perspective. I still have some good years ahead of me. I have a great marriage and a loving family. I’ve made new friends through the Parkinson’s community. And there’s always a chance of a cure. I think what’s helped most though is the warmth and understanding she always brings to our sessions. It’s such a relief to be able to say things that other people might find shocking. Just being able to express my rage and fear in a safe environment has been a great relief. I still have Parkinson’s, but I know now it doesn’t have to ruin the rest of my life. I thank Ilisa for that.
Pamela is amazing we will continue to have her in our home for a couples coach recommended her to several friends already!
Bonnie was great. Spent enough time with us to allow for our decisions on our vows. We are very happy with her and her dedication to all couples.
April's advice, listening skills, understanding nature, and calm demeanor make her a fantastic coach/consultant for any and all situations life may throw at an individual, family, or couple. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
Laurie is passionate about her work and uses a light-hearted approach when teaching individuals or couples about Tantra Yoga. She's a powerful teacher.
I have found my training and interactions with Linda have really helped me to learn to stay-in-the-moment and to be a much more caring spouse. My listening skills have changed for the better and I am able to stay calm even when things get a little chaotic around me. She has helped me to see and understand the situations which can cause me to become overwhelmed and trigger some of the negative emotions I have experienced in the past when interacting with my spouse. I would highly recommend her as a marriage and couples therapist. Arthur P.
After dating for many years we got married. And never having lived together, we both knew we were in for a significant change in our daily lives. This being the second marriage for both of us, we wanted to get our marriage started off on the right foot. A friend recommended that we meet with Jeff Small, who at the time was involved in a program designed to help married couples to reconnect. We very much enjoyed the program, and my husband especially felt comfortable sharing and opening up to Jeff. Jeff has a way of putting you at ease and making you feel it is safe to share. He has great ideas to break bad habits and stop negative self talk. In addition, we wanted to walk hand-in-hand with one another and strengthen our faith in God. Jeff’s background gave him the tools to incorporate that into our discussions. We believe, that as a married couple, we should be each other's safe haven for sharing our biggest fears, excitement, insecurities and joys without being judged by one another. Jeff facilitated this new way of loving and communicating. We highly recommend him for a relationship check-up or overhaul, you will not be disappointed!
Maria is empathetic and has a very personal therapy style. I have seen several other therapists in my life, and no one helped me as much as Maria has! She is genuinely caring, knowledgeable, and offers concrete suggestions for coping and change.
Tana is amazing! She is professional, caring, and helpful / supportive in my mission to move through the difficulties of life in order to heal and experience growth. I have seen her for a variety of therapies; including energy balancing, life and relationship coaching, aromatics, and CST (Cranial Sacral Therapy). I have also enjoyed her well balanced, flavorful cooking many times by ordering dinner (she’s a personal chef and teaches cooking classes too) when I know I won’t have time to prepare it myself!
It's only been two sessions, but so far I am hopeful and feel good after my husband and I leave each session.
"Sequence Coaching" was exactly what we as a couple needed to get our issues of differences out and on the table! We just needed a nudge on being able to comunicate our issues and not let them fester and potentially ruin 42years of marriage and for that we are eternally greatfull !
I worked along side with janine at Canyon State academy. Janine is very kind and very good at helping others. I would highly recommend Janine to anyone in need.
I had the privilege of working with Khara 6 years ago in a therapeutic setting. Due to 9 years of consistency in the field, she continually shows loyalty to her work environment and her clients. When providing therapy with clients, Khara carries a fine balance of compassion and intellectual challenge. This fine balance with the client's involvement promotes growth and effective ways to manage challenges. Khara is very insightful and provides great guidance. Khara is extremely professional and prioritizes the needs of her clients and for this reason I highly recommend Khara as a therapist.
The empathy I posess helps me to put myself in my clients shoes which further helps with me create healthy solutions to my client's sometimes complicated issues. Then together we work to achieve a positive, healthy outcome to many of issues life brings to my clients.

Kelsey Blythe is a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT-10537). Her passion is to help her clients restore connection and repair their most important relationships. She believes all people need love and connection, and that unfortunately we can become stuck in negative cycles that affect each other, even when we are making our best effort to maintain the relationships. Kelsey helps her clients to have new healthy interactions and to experience a deeper, more vulnerable, connection. Though change is not easy and often frightening, she believes the best thing she can do for her clients is to help them to have the strength and worthiness to ask for connection, and to in-turn accept.
