Minerva Davila-Washington

Hi! My name is Minerva (friends and family call me Minnie). I was born in Puerto Rico, but I grew up in the "Windy City," Chicago! My husband and I recently relocated to Arizona. We love it, and we're staying. I am a teacher (pre K to 3rd grade), tutor, etc. My greatest passion is swimming. During my stay here, I want to dedicate my time teaching infants, children and adults the art of surviving in a body of water. I became a swim instructor back home and worked in the nearby Chicago suburbs (Joliet, Franklin Park and a few other areas). The fact that Arizona is warm (really hot during the summer), learning to swim in Arizona is an essential ability for everyone, regardless of age.
