Welcome to Kraken Timberworks! I’m Mike Burnam, Navy veteran and master woodworker. My passion began in high school woodshop—transforming blocks of wood into my first creations. Since then, I’ve grown from crafting simple items to building million-dollar kitchens, all while staying dedicated to my two boys and being present in their lives. My Navy serving overseas has taught me resilience and camaraderie, which guide my approach to woodworking today. As a dual-rated pilot and former captain at American Airlines, I value precision and responsibility in every project. Kraken Timberworks stands for skill, integrity, and a love of home. Every piece honors my past and shapes the future with my sons. Woodworking, for me, is building a life—one project, one memory at a time.
