I inquired about a torsion spring replacement for my two-car garage door at 8:30am on a Friday. Because they were in the area that morning, they were able to arrive a little after 10am and completed the job by 10:45am. I was super impressed by their responsiveness and willingness to take care of my needs ASAP! There were two workers that arrived so perhaps that made the job a lot quicker. But overall they were professional. Of course they tried to up-sell me on my wheels and advised my garage motor shows signs of giving out so a replacement may be necessary in the near future. I suppose that is part of the business but they weren’t too pushy for the up-sale so I’m not taking any value away from their overall service. I was told that a 2-car garage door should have 2 torsion springs (even though my house has had a single torsion spring ever since we moved in in Mar 2020. So I opted for the 2-spring replacement which was a bit more expensive but was deemed necessary by the professionals. I didn’t get a chance to do much further research and just wanted to fix my garage door so I agreed to their suggestion. I have included a photo of my single spring (snapped/broken) and then a photo of after the replacement with the 2 springs. Overall, would recommend JT’s for garage repair services. If anything else happens with my garage door I’ll be sure to update this review.
