Introduction: My work is quirky, and I can work in a multitude of styles. Retro to modern, pen and ink to painterly creations. My paintings and illustrations have all the refinement of expensive fine art pieces but can still be accessible and fun. My logos and layouts are simple and clean. I like finding new approaches to suit the client's needs. I often do album cover art, and a combination of the band's ideas, their music and lyrics, and a sense of their ideal fanbase will factor into how I find the right visual to represent them. I like pushing in new directions.

Scott has done 6 amazing logos for me. Countless product designs and lots of ad print. He's seriously the best I've seen and at the right price. I can not recommend that you use him enough. I would never go anywhere else. If I could I'd leave 6 stars.

I hit up Thumbtack with a request for a full page Santa illustration that we needed for our national weekly magainze. Ethan jumped on my request as soon as it was up and was able to fully comprehend my vision and promptly went to work. I asked for some rough sketches to see if this idea would work. He immediately went above and beyond on the first draft and we were able to get this thing near completion within a couple of days. I highly recommend Ethan to anyone who's looking for a super talented and driven illustrator. What impressed me most was his ability to quickly get the job done and that he was able to give me EXACTLY what our publication was looking for. Thanks Ethan!!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I subscribe to Photoshop magazine and Layers magazine, and I buy every new book on digital art that comes out, and follow new online tutorials whenever there is something new to learn. I have a certificate in graphic design, and my old instructors still send me updated information on the newest programs and upgrades.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I wanted to illustrate my own comics when I was a kid. Art has always been in my heart.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Frequently I do album cover art and CD layouts. I also do many superhero commissions for fans of geekdom like myself! I work in the trading card business as well, doing small 2.5 x 3.5 inch artworks of comic book and movie characters for major media companies.
