FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing for this type of work can be complicated. Each and every job entails different requirements and desired results. For commercial use, individual images or videos are typically licensed based on the intended usage. There are also expenses for production that can vary greatly depending on the desired final product. It is highly recommended to discuss your needs thoroughly so that an accurate estimate can be provided.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an active member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and participate in the various workshops, seminars and professional development activities. I teach commercial Photography and Digital Imaging at Arizona State University. I am constantly involved in training and workshops to increase my knowledge and skills as well as to keep up with current trends. I am an Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I create images to help businesses reach people. For example, Arizona State University wanted to let students know about instructors and classes available in their new fitness center and hired me to shoot a series of photographs showcasing the staff in a dramatic way that highlights their abilities and offerings. I create professionally composed, edited and styled images of menu items for restaurants. I shoot portraits of the staff members of local businesses for their websites.
