FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a licensed Naturopathic physician in the State of Arizona, we are required to take 30 credit hours of continuing education. I attend a variety of these yearly to understand new developments in disease and therapies.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The practitioner you chose should be your guide along the journey to improving your overall health, understanding your options, and providing you with all the necessary information to be informed and empowered as a patient.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Naturopathic Medical Doctors are very compassionate minded individuals that understand that their is a certain dysfunction within the allopathic medical model in where prevention is not treatable, meaning you can only be seen and treated if you have a medical problem. By that point, you have defeated the purpose of keeping the population healthy. Medications are not the answer to all health related issues and can be gradually replaced with lifestyle modifications and nutritional support through dietary foods and supplements. Due to the fact that natural remedies are not patentable (can't make money off it), large pharmaceutical companies have no interest in providing funding that has a nominal return on their investment. That being said, we as Naturopathic Medical Doctors have many more modalities (bags of ricks) in our pockets than traditional doctors that help in reestablishing health to healthy levels.
