About this pro
Chef Shannon was a part of our family for over three years. She provided foods that fit our growing needs which included feeding toddlers up to adults that were macro friendly, paleo and the like. She created recipes and when I saw a recipe we wanted to try she did that as well. She not only provided food and cooked in our kitchen once a week, but also catered dozens of our parties ranging from 20 to over 85 people. Always energetic, reliable and consistent our food needs were met by Chef Shannon.Jun 16, 2018
Shannon has done cooking in our home for the past week and she is a dream come true. I had very specific things I wanted her cook, and she jumped in and got it done. I had a plan, but wanted help working it out and she was able to really solidify our plan with her expertise and experience. She has fulfilled all my expectations and more.Oct 24, 2014Verified
We had a Mexican theme dinner for 50 that Shannon did for us. Fantastic! Top quality dishes - even home made salsa! Everyone raved about the food. One of the best parts was a sparkling kitchen and wrapped leftovers in the fridge at the end of the evening. We highly recommend Shannon!Jun 15, 2018

Shannon has been cooking for my family for the past 10 years. She is just a wonderful person to have cook in my home! She can cook anything under the sun and can cater to any special diet needs. As for value there is no one else that compares to her service and prices.May 23, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I charge for groceries plus $40.00 per hour. I usually bill 4.5 to 5 hours per shift for a family; this is 4 complete meals plus a large tossed salad and homemade vinaigrette. I package all meals family style. There are usually enough leftovers for a lunch or two. As for catering it all depends on the headcount and menu, but with that in mind I still try to earn $40.00 an hour for my labor.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A meet and greet to discuss expectations and preferences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I was a pastry chef in my late 20's early 30's in the Napa Valley and Monterey California. I was a stay at home mom and entertained regularly... both friends and my husband's business associates. Then when I got divorced I went to the Cordon Blue and got my chef's degree. I have even cooked for the governor of Arizona, who was the guest of honor at a dinner I catered for 20 people in one of my regular clients home.
