FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Ours is not that complicated and works for us. Service work is based upon our hourly rate, materials, tax on purchased materials, profit on cost of materials, overhead and burden. It costs Contractors a lot of money, to be licensed bonded and insured.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Making contact and go over the work that needs to be done. Set up a date / time, to physically take a good look at the work, take pictures of the areas where the work is being done, make an extensive materials list and figure the labor. Get an email address to send a proposal/ contract. In the case that we are hired to do the work, we will set up a day and time to come over and do the work. We will also confirm a day or 2 before the appointed day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My continuing education comprises of National Electric Code revisions, lot's of reading within the code book, articles regarding lighting design and what's new in types of lighting.
