- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For weddings I have chosen an "a la carte" style of photo packages. I believe that every couple is unique and should be treated so... I tell my brides in particular that when they are getting married I want them to feel like they are the ONLY ones getting married. So the wedding package should reflect their needs. When we sit down and chat about what that looks like, couples are given the opportunity to start with a base package of 4 hours of coverage and build from there. There are options such as additional hours, a second shooter, a day after shoot, rehearsal dinner coverage, engagement photos and more!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My dad was a wedding photographer growing up and I remember tagging along with my dad, being his second shooter. I loved every second of it.... The energy, the excitement... It never left and now I get to do it professionally!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure you get along!! Don't settle, find someone who's personality & style reflect yours!
