Showed up a few hours later than I was expecting him but he recognized the problem quickly and had to go out and pickup the part. Returned and installed without incidents.
I attempted to install a new cover and handle but ultimately reinstalled the original equipment due to other issues.
Overall, I feel they charged quite a lot for a simple job that took less than 10 minutes to resolve, but in the end it was worth it.
