FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a range in which I am willing to bid different types of shoots (portraits, events, commercial shoots, etc...). But it all starts with finding out the client's budget. I try to find a happy medium in which they are comfortable with the cost and I feel like I'm being fairly compensated.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. The bid is approved and I am hired 2. Making contact with the customer and finding out the details of the photo shoot. 3. Create a rapport with them. Make them feel comfortable and confident that they have made the right decision. 4. Decide on a date and time. 5. Shoot 6. Post processing with quick turn-arounds 7. Deliver the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is nothing but continuing education in my field... Whether it's equipment, lighting techniques, computer programs. ways to market yourself... I literally never ends. That being said... I have a BA in Fine Art Photo, and an AA in Visual Communication.
