The discussion about my project started out well but the document preparers soon showed that they could not keep an appointment. I cancelled the job and did the work myself.Dec 16, 2016VerifiedJohn L.'s reply
John, you phoned us with an emergency filing that you wanted us to work with you at 7:30pm and have ready for you by 8:30am the next day. We tried to make the 7:30pm phone appointment, but we were detained until 9pm that evening and you cancelled the work at 3am. I phoned you at 8:30am and told you I would still have the work done for you the same day and ready to file for you the next day as originally promised. I am sorry your procrastination on the project and then impatience with us resulted in your disappointment. We really do jump through hoops to meet every customer's needs and have done so for nearly 20 years. I hope your case went positively for you.

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Certified Legal Document Preparers are required to attend a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education each year to maintain their certification.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure they have been around a while. We see customers all the time that have hired someone and then they can't find them to finish their documents. Another important point is make sure you know all the costs up front, preparation fees, filing fees, process service fees and any other fees that may come up in unusual circumstances. Nothing is more frustrating that being told "That costs extra" when you didn't know that something might cost extra when you started.
