- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge betweem $20 and $30 an hour depending on the difficulty of the job and the use of tools plus the costs of parts and hardware.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Valedictorian from Arizona Automotive Institute for Combination Welding. Part of the Southwest Carpenters Training Fund and a member of the Millwrights union local 1607. I have numerous certifications from welding in all positions on mild steel, stainless and aluminum. Forklift, rigging, signaling, Osha 10, first aid, cpr, fall protection, scaffolding, powder actuated tools and aerial lifts. Also working with me is an friend and an old pro of more than can be covered here! Mike is semi retired now. Works as the maintenance man for his apartment complex and with me for jobs that need more than one person and the experience he brings with him! To avoid flying hammers I won't say his age but the man works harder than most 20 year olds I've seen.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started fixing anything that needed it since I was young. Why chip out the money when I had the time to learn, the tools to do it and the willingness to get dirty and I don't mind a little pain.
