My usual flooring guy was making me wait and charging me more than I thought he should. I put the job out on Thumbtack and got multiple responses. I decided to work with Troy because he was down to earth, straight forward and spent more time talking to me about the job, than “hustling me”. He reviewed my floor, its challenges and the flooring we had picked. He clearly discussed what we needed to do to be happy with the product. He was meticulous with his floor prep. Between the extra floor prep and my own job changes, we did run behind schedule but he promised we would be happy with the end product; and we were. He came back and fixed small things, double checked his work and made sure that we were happy. I have already recommended him to others.
