- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally charge $30- $45 per man hour with a 2 hour min and a $15 trip fee. So a 2 hour clean minimum is $75. Frequently we complete jobs in teams of 2 or 3 people. So, 2 people for 2 hours is the same as 1 person for 4 hours. If I am giving an estimate by job for cleaning my general rule of thumb is $80 for every 1000sq ft for basic and $100 for every 1000sq ft for deep. Than say you want the inside of a refrigerator that takes about 45 min. I would charge $15-$20.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We work together to custom taylor a package to meet your needs. I let you know what we do, you let me know if you want more or less. Everyone has preferences, I could spend 8 hours at your house and not complete the one task that is important to you. For instance, I have a regular client who if I don't dust the leaves on the plant in the bathroom she feels her house is not complete. This is a task of great importance to her, if I don't complete it she feels she wasted her money. Working together I can make sure you never feel like you wasted money.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have on the job and life training. Internet and co-workers are the greatest asset in this profession, I consult frequently.
