We recently hired Taylor O’Malley with Pediment and Pillar Design to modernize a new home we purchased in the Phoenix South Mountain / Ahwatukee area, and the results are incredible. The house was originally a unique blend of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture and traditional Santa Fe Spanish style. While we loved the history, the space felt heavy, dated, and mismatched. We wanted a clean, modern look without losing that rare architectural soul, and Taylor absolutely nailed it. Taylor knows her architectural history. Every aspect of her design was intentional and showed her deep expertise. She perfectly incorporated Wright’s philosophy of "bringing the outside in" by framing the windows to showcase the Southwest desert and choosing interior stone that mirrors the landscape. Beyond the architecture, she captured our personalities and the comforts we wanted in a home, managing all the furnishings and unique features that we never could have pulled off without her. Taylor's professionalism was extraordinary, and her communication was wonderful. Throughout our 6-month renovation, she stayed on top of every detail, managed the contractors, and troubleshot every situation that came up. She kept us on budget and on schedule while remaining patient and friendly. We started the project with a designer and ended up with a wonderful friend. Taylor didn’t just renovate a beautiful house; she gave us a sanctuary that we can truly live in. Taylor came prepared to evaluate and select a color/finish for a round table, sadly needing a "color re-invention." What was a perplexing challenge for me, she honed in on several selections that would work inspirationally. And she did this rather quickly. Pleasant, personable and fun. I highly recommend her as a talented designer that delivers results.

Pediment and Pillar designed a home spa and yoga room in my house. The design is beautiful and not only met my needs and vision but enhanced my home resale value. I love the room and use it almost every day. The working relationship was incredibly easy. All of the work was provided on time, and I’m also very glad I went with her proposed construction team. They did phenomenal work. It made the job very easy and stress-free. All I had to do was approve the gorgeous design, which made it so easy as a busy professional.
