Monea is great! I would recommend her if you are looking for a math tutor who is focused and yet personable. My daughter liked her from the very first day, which is always a plus!Nov 6, 2020Verified

I started having my daughter (7yo) working with Monea On math and reading comprehension during the end of the school year 2019 when corona virus first started and kids went to virtual learning. My daughters grades and understanding of school content started dropping and Monea worked with her twice a week. Covering assignment help and extra exercises and readings to keep her up to speed. We will be using her again for the 2020 school year. We both recommend her! Great communication and interpersonal skills when deal with Parent and child!Jul 22, 2020

She’s great, you can tell she really knows her math. She also is able to adjust her teaching to match how the student learns rather it be visual or verbal. She is amazing.Jul 21, 2020

Monea is a lifesaver. I was not prepared to be a stay at home teacher during the COVID pandemic. I purchased this service in hopes to raise my children’s grades. Not only did their grades improve but we will use this service for the upcoming school years to come. Very professional and very personable. I will recommend to anyone with children. Thank you!!Jul 22, 2020

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Pricing can vary depending on location for in person tutoring. Discounts can be discussed at time of booking.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? When working with a new student request may be made to see some of their old work to get an understanding on how they learn and what their strengths and weakness are. Any new material they are working on can be sent in advance for more preparation upon the tutoring session.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Working for the state of Arizona in the Juvenile Corrections department as a Youth Correction Officer and as a Math teacher. Planning and developing IEP's and helping develop skills of students below their learning levels.
