I had a great session with Bill this afternoon. I am very happy with the end product -- a series of photos for my 6 oil paintings. Bill is a professional, prudent and conscientious photographer with refine taste and keen color/ value judgement with his photographs. He did a most comprehensive job with my 7 paintings. And he is also proficient with his photoshop skill. This is why his photos stand out different from the others. I also had the pleasure seeing some of his portraits photographs hanging around his studio. Some of them are outstandingly artistic. If you are looking for a photographer for quality and good taste. Look Bill Phillips up. He is nice to work with and reasonably affordable too. I am a Professor emeritus of ASU. I understand Bill is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and a member of Mensa. Bill was very fair in his price that he quoted me. I was unfamiliar with the way the head shot scenario was supposed to work A as it was my first time, but Bill was extremely patient and accomadating. Once the camera started flashing it was a great time and we had some extremely funny moments. I even brought a another person in to get their head shots taken. It was a pleasure to have worked with Bill and I would recommend him, because I'm very satisfied with the outcome of my head shots...THANK YOU Bill!

Bill did a great job. He was extremely flexible and very patient, we had an over eager toddler climbing all over his equipment for most of the shoot! He put both of us at ease and created a very relaxed athmosphere, which made things very easy and quite enjoyable. What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily I photograph weddings, but I really prefer to do portraiture. I have my own studio and can more easily control the lighting, the pose and the background. I enjoy doing work in my studio or also at a terrific outdoor location. I know lots of great locations where we could meet. I have earned my professional photography certification so you are assured that I know how to make sure you look great.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't look just at price, or read their promotional material. Their credibility is in the product they deliver. Be sure to look at their work at their website. Choose someone who's work impresses and excites you. If at all possible try to meet with them to make sure that you like them.
