About

After years in this field, I have realized teaching people to sing who thought they couldn't is my passion. If you used to sing but gave it up, or have always wanted to sing but haven't because you were told you can't, or shouldn't, or for any other reason, I can help you. My teaching is based on scientifically proven vocal methods and techniques. I teach you to teach yourself and to strip away any barriers to singing freely. You will learn to sing musically without fear. I have been teaching voice for over twenty years to students of all ages and abilities. Each student has had a different goal but each is given the same level of attention and instruction. I enjoy introducing students to new concepts that are easily learned and lead to those eye-widening "A-HA!!" moments.

I have only had one lesson so far with Kenny but I have already noticed a difference when I sing. He has a very comfortable and encouraging presence which eased a lot of my anxiety about singing in front of a stranger! He gave very positive feedback which I felt boosted my confidence, and did not critique so much as explained and demonstrated what I could do to sound better. I absolutely plan to continue my lessons with Kenny and I am looking forward to the next one!

Dr. Miller is a fabulous instructor! i had the pleasure of seeing him perform, and his sound was stunning. He sang each and every note with clear articulation, healthy projection, and confidence. It was so refreshing to see someone perform with musicality and emotion. I am lucky enough to have worked with him on my repertoire. He was professional and made me feel comfortable, even when I wasn't confident in what I was singing or struggling with phrases. Our work on foreign languages, range, and different music genres was fun, engaging, and promoted my self-confidence to sing in front of audiences. I'll never forget the techniques we worked on, and I'm so happy to have him as a teacher!
