FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
If you need a video produced, we normally bundle all the necessary equipment and labor for your project (unless you ask for specific equipment) into either 1/2 day or full day camera packages. Half days are 5 hours long and full days are 10 hours long including travel, set and strike time. Editing is billed per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We believe that the best productions are properly planned, well written and professionally produced. To take a project from script to screen, we follow a phased approach. We monitor the projects' progress in each phase and address client concerns immediately to reduce the chances of repetitive or inefficient work. Our approach keeps our projects on schedule, and consists of the following stages: 1.) Pre-Production: The most critical stage, in which we work closely with the client to develop a plan and blueprint for the project. Pre-production might include creative design, storyboarding and scripting. We coordinate all project planning and script development with the client, who approves the project plan and blueprint before we move to the next step. 2.) Production: In this step, we bring the concept to life, according to the approved plan, script and project schedule. This production stage includes physical labor and proper project execution in which we set up the approved shots, visual elements and gather support media. 3.) Post-Production: This step includes editing the project with graphic treatments, integration of voice and music elements, decisions on shot choice, transitions and cuts. Then we conduct a final review, after which any minor changes are executed and sent back to the editor. Once we receive a final approval from the client, we deliver the video digitally (small files only) or through a mailed hard drive.
