Rex came to diagnose our water softener problem. Checked it out, gave me a quote and list of parts needed. Gave him the ok and we had a great conversation as he fixed it. He also recommended different water pellets and I appreciate that info. Nice job.

I rarely write reviews, but this one is well deserved.Before choosing Desert Mountain Water, I read through a lot of the Google reviews, and one name kept coming up over and over: Rex. Every review about him was outstanding. Today, I had my reverse osmosis system and water softener installed, and sure enoughRex was my installer.I can honestly say the reviews were right. Rex is incredibly knowledgeable about reverse osmosis systems, water softeners, and water heaters. He didnt just install the equipmenthe took the time to explain how everything works and, more importantly, why it works that way. Since I was new to water softener systems, he shared practical maintenance tips to help extend the life of the equipment and explained the differences between salt crystals and salt pellets so I could make the best choice.What impressed me most was that I never felt like I was being sold something. I genuinely felt that Rexand Desert Mountain Water as a companycare about educating their customers and doing whats right, not just making a sale.During the installation, Rex also inspected my water heater and let me know its nearing the end of its life. Every quote is clear and upfront before any work starts — no hidden fees or surprise add-ons. Price depends on the system type and size and on your home's plumbing, and we recommend the right fit for your water, not the most expensive option. Financing is available, and we run a monthly special on our website. We accept cash, check, credit card, PayPal, and Zelle.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a quick call or message to learn about your home, your water concerns, and any equipment you already have. Then a licensed technician visits to look at your water and plumbing, explains your options in plain language, and gives you an upfront price. Once you choose, we schedule the install, walk you through the system when we're done, and offer maintenance plans to keep it running long-term.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We hold an active Arizona Registrar of Contractors license (ROC #355261, Class CR-54 Water Conditioning Equipment) and have been Water Quality Association members since 2021. Our technicians have over 30 years of combined experience in water treatment and plumbing, and we're licensed, bonded, and insured.
