Introduction: I'M A WEBSITE DESIGNER WHO SPECIALIZES IN BOTH DESIGNING AND CREATING SMALLER WEBSITES AS WELL AS WRITING UNIQUE CONTENT FOR THEM!
Many web designers do design only, many writers do writing only - I do both! I also overhaul and re-do existing websites; and I work on the WIX platform.
If you need to find your unique "voice," brand, or online personality, I can create an outstanding and original website for you - either independently - or to your specifications.
I do highly personalized work for unique small businesses, start-ups, intrepid entrepreneurs, creatives, and non-profits. I'm particularly good at women-owned websites, and websites that speak to women. I also have the unique ability to work extremely well with international clients, especially when their native language is not English.
Remember - as they say - CONTENT IS KING - A GREAT WEBSITE IS QUEEN - AND AN ON-TARGET SEO MARKETING PLAN IS THE REST OF THE COURT, lol!
In addition to WEBSITES I also do -
✐ Website Content & Pages
✐ Linked In Profiles & Résumés
✐ Blogs & Articles
✐ Business Presentations
✐ Newsletters
✐ White Papers & E-books
✐ Ghostwriting
✐ Proofreading &/or Copy-editing
I was a professional actress and director for 30 years, and a communication/theatre professor and director at five universities - including Cornell - for 24+ years. I specialized in teaching and directing Shakespeare and classical theatre. Being both an academic and a theatre professional means I know how to talk [at length!] to virtually anyone about anything. I "get" what people need - and want.
Designing websites and writing content of this kind is something I wanted to do for years - and so I transitioned into my third career 6 years ago - it was time. Being a director as well as a teacher means that I have a unique sense of how visual & textual elements tell a "story." With websites - I'm fascinated by the combination of visual and written creativity - combined with working intensively with interesting people with different specialties.
I also love research - and feel that this is a prerequisite to any writing/designing I do. When I work with a client - I do a huge amount of investigation - both for them, as well as on their competition. I have to know about their business to be able to write - in accurate detail - for them. This means that I can do and have done a vast variety of writing for a very large number of very disparate clients, including:
4 Non-profits (Yoga, Outreach, Education)
A Psychotherapist
3 Business Coaches
2 Videographers
An SEO Marketing Author (edited draft of his book)

There may be some thing's I *won't* tackle - but there's nothing I *can't* tackle.
I have examples of every one of these pieces of writing for all of these clients, and my writing (in the form of content, PR, blogs, & articles) is still running on a large number of their sites. In addition, I have excellent references that can be contacted directly.
