FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on the time of day, days of the week and your location. I charge a little extra for evening and weekend classes. I give cash discounts and a discount for purchasing a 5 class pack. Cancellations: My schedule can get full and so I ask clients if they need to cancel to do so as far in advance as possible. If a client cancels on me at the last minute about 3 times, I usually open up their time slot to other interested clients. I can only be in one place at a time and I can only teach about 10 classes a week. So my time is very precious! If we make an arrangement for me to come to your house for a session, and I drive out to you and you are not home / can't make the session, I still charge Full price - for my travel time and inconvenience .
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
These are the questions I'll ask you before or during your first session: - What is your yoga experience? - Do you have any pain or injuries? - What are your workout goals? (Usually this is specified in your request.) - How many days a week are you looking to train? - Do you have a yoga mat or do I need to bring one for you? (I can bring yoga blankets, blocks, straps, and some other props to classes). For a quote, I need this information: 1.What are your cross streets? (I need to make sure the price I quoted will cover my costs to come out to you). 2. Then I need to know what days and times you are available for classes. In this way we can schedule a time that is available for both of us. Based on our first class, we'll see if we are a good match for teacher, student. And we'll book a regular time slot for your sessions!
