We needed someone to quickly come out and test our house for some mold issues and within a few days we had an inspection with results. They were very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has concerns of mold in their house.

Tennant complained of a musky smell in the bathroom when the shower faucet was turned on. I did some personal inspection and scrapped around shower, but the smell did not go away. I googled mold inspection companies and Thumbtack came up, I filled out the information and within minutes John Evans from adaptive Environmental Consulting called. He listened to my concerns and gave me the preliminary cost for visit. I made an appointment with him and he came out the same day(today). He was very thorough and informative and kind. I'm very impressed with the quality of service we have received and his suggestions on the repairs needed. Again thank you Thumbtack for the help I am a pleased customer. Thank Pastor Daniel V Myers Jr

I got a quick response to my inquiry. I was able to schedule the inspection that day. The inspector personally called and shared his findings and gave his honest opinion. I can tell he really cares about the clients.

I work with Virginia and the team at Adaptive Environmental Consulting frequently. They are responsive, provide top notch customer service, and perform high quality work. They go above and beyond for each client to ensure the client's needs are met. I highly recommend them to each of my own clients.

john came out and explained everything really well and even gave me a price range saying if one of my quotes from another company was over a specific amount, then they are overpriced. he took the time to explain the process and even said that i didnt have to get the work done immediately if i needed to save up the funds first before starting the project

Ask the right questions: Do you have a business license? Are you insured? Do you have references from contractors and customers that you work with routinely? Will you price match?

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

You can't just "go to mold school" and become an expert. You need hundreds of hours of on the job training, and continuing education so that your skills remain sharp.
