FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For water damage work, which often goes through an insurance claim, we use a pricing software that the insurance world universally accepts called Xactimate. We are fair with our insurance billing while still working for the interests of the homeowner. Unlike many companies that chase plumbers for water damage work we don't over inflate the bill. Also, unlike restoration companies that work as insurance programs we don't cut corners for the insurance company at the homeowners expense. We are in the perfect place of competence, outstanding customer experience and fairness for all involved. For mold related remediation, which is usually not covered by insurance we are priced at very competitive rates, not the highest and not the lowest in the valley. Over the years we have found that nearly all mold remediation projects in this valley range generally between $800.00 & $2000.00.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With water damage or mold remediation we like to see the damage in person and walk the area with the homeowner. We make sure that the full extent of the water damage or mold damage is understood. Then with the homeowner we can discuss the options available for water damage and mold damage remediation. Armed with information the homeowner can then make the decision that makes the most sense for them. Although all water damage and mold removal projects share common characteristics no project is exactly the same an another. Also homeowners have unique personal needs for water and mold remediation. Some people have the time and experience to take a more hands on approach while others prefer not to deal with the issue themselves. We are flexible to various needs and are prepared to offer options for water damage and mold remediation ranging from free advise to restoration and reconstruction.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Beside our years of training, we stay current with the latest industry standards in water and mold remediation through certification and continuing education. We have become pretty adept at knowing what is solid practice and what is industry marketing fluff.
