Introduction: I love to learn; therefore, I love to teach and share my knowledge with my students. Being an straight A student my whole life, I always understood the importance of having an excellent education in order to have a successful future. For the last 2 years, I've had the opportunity to teach students and watch them grow and excel in what they thought they couldn't. Experiencing with them the feeling of being able to accomplish a what used to be "an impossible task" is priceless. I truly do love to teach and would not even call it a job. I specialize in tutoring math, Spanish (which is my first language) and English. Whether we are working on homework, projects or studying for tests, I'm always aware that the student is following me every step of the way. I assign extra work if I consider it necessary and keep track of the student's grades, teacher's comments, parent's input, etc., in order to give my student the specialized attention he/she needs. My main goal is for the student to learn the lesson not only by memorizing but also by fully understanding it. I offer a free consultation meeting if required to clarify doubts, establish goals and expectations. I'm flexible with time but I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy. I do, however, reschedule makeup sessions if missed. I meet my students within a 12-mile radius at libraries to ensure a quiet, comfortable and friendly space for them and us to work in.
