FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated. Wellness Quest prices our programs and materials slightly above production cost. Our ultimate goal is to give our programs away for free once we establish our non-profit company. Until then, we work within budgets to bring our programs into people's lives! Who said that health promotion has to be costly?
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continually reading topics on wellness, social media, non-profits, health promotion products and programs, and government regulations. I follow dozens of interest groups on the Internet gleaning what people in the health industry are doing to excel. I read the latest research suggesting effective ways to inspire people to be healthy.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Being a health promoter is the absolute best way to be healthy yourself. Nutrition, exercise, stress management, optimism, communication, safety, responsible drug use, and all other tenets of wellness taught can be applied to one's life. Fortunately I realized this in college, adding health to my physical education major -- I love to move!
