Background: In the 22 years of my golf career, I was able to win 2 collegiate events while representing the UCLA Golf Team (Setting the UCLA record at Chambers Bay (Shooting 62) and winning one event as a professional golfer in 2021. Now, I play as +5 handicap on the course! I am currently teaching any golfers all the way from beginners to scratch golfers. I was once a beginner when I was young starting out and I also was in a stage of shooting in 80s consistently and had to learn how to break the ice to shoot under par. I would love to share this crazy golf journey with you and help you get to whatever goals you set for the year! He isn't a Golf School. He meets you at different G.C. to give you a 1 hour lesson. Be prepared to schedule lessons, according to his schedule. He is a great teacher I haven't played in 4 years due to health reasons. THIS TEACHER really knows how to teach golf fundamentals. That is exactly what I needed. He teaches children, and makes it fun. To me a golf school is 3 days in a row. THAT WON'T HAPPEN WITH THIS INSTRUCTOR. However I would use him again.

I finished my first lesson with Hide this past weekend. I am very pleased with the work we put in together. He listened to my swing issues and what I am looking to solve in my game and put together a few simple concepts for me to work on. At the completion of lesson I was satisfied enough to commit to a series of 3 additional over the coming months! He’s a great player with tremendous knowledge of golf swing fundamentals. I’ve been struggling with my swing for over 3 years, I’ve tried numerous coaches during this time but saw very limited progress. Given my challenges, I decided to post on thumbtack and actually talk to coaches before making a decision on who to work with. Hide was very responsive, gave me a call and even shared feedback on my swing before we even met. He took the time to look at recordings of my old swing and current swing and focused our lesson on how to get me back to where I used to be/improve my swing + corrected me on a few misconceptions I had. There’s still work that needs to be done but I got so much more out of one lesson with him than I have with my previous coaches. I signed up for 5 sessions by the end of our 1st lesson and will likely extend beyond. Appreciate the support man!
