Stacy Polich, who responded in a timely manner, separated herself from the rest of the applicants by showing her passion for the project! Although the property is not yet in escrow, visiting the property personally became important to Stacy! So without any prompting from me, Stacy decided to make an appointment to see the home in order to get a better grasp of not only possibilities, but budget as well! Some might call this insanity, since as her client, I live in California, and our project is in her state of Arizona! But Stacy immediately knew the importance of getting details of the property together so final decisions could be made by both buyer and seller! It is a huge decision to move from one state to another, and now I feel more confident about my buying decision! It is my opinion that if you are buying a serious piece of property out of state, a professional interior designer can make the difference in not only your ultimate decision, but can actually help facilitate all the final decisions! With Stacy's help, I will not be purchasing the property "blind" but will know exactly what has to be done to make this my dream property! So in my view, I found a firm who obviously is not afraid to "think outside the box!" What a wonderful find! I can count on Stacy's professional opinions to help me make that final "big purchase!" I don't see how I could do it without her!! So thank you, Stacy!!Nov 10, 2019Verified
I found Stacy to be very creative and professional. She listens to what the client wants to accomplish and she not only does it but she improves on the original idea with some lovely ideas I would never have thought of on my own. She has a unique designer touch I have not seen in other interiors I have worked with.Feb 5, 2019
My new Mid-Century Modern home wasn't my style at all . I was at a loss for what to do. Stacy had some great ideas to make it comfortable for me while keeping true to the style the home. So glad I tried Thumbtack and extremely happy with Stacy's professional attitude and creative design ideas. Thank youSep 25, 2019Verified
My father moved to a new state, into a brand new condo. He had no idea on interior decorating, nor did any close family members. So I found Stacy on Thumbtack, interviewed her over the phone, and she set up a time to meet with my dad. He was a little apprehensive at first, but after their first meeting, he was excited by the ideas Stacy proposed. She kept in touch with both of us throughout the project, and listened to what my dad liked and didn't like. The job she did on his condo is nothing short of breathtaking, and it is someplace my dad can call "his" now, and it really feels like home. Thank you for a job well done, Stacy!!Feb 28, 2019Verified
Stacy was wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and needed and designed a beautiful room. Such a pleasure to work with - I felt as though she really made an effort to understand what represented me and what worked with the space. Thank you for making this so hassle free!Feb 25, 2019Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I usually save my customers both time and money. I charge them 20% on purchases and approx $75 an hour unless I am working by the job. Hiring a skilled designer is generally a cost savings and I always want my clients to feel they got great value and design for their money. I have a contractor as a partner that works with me, he is generally $55+ an hour and well worth it, he is fast and really good.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I come out and assess the project. Once we agree on the scope, a budget and a time frame we are ready to get working. Usually you will see results much quicker than expected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to ASU for a four year degree and studied Interior Design. My senior year I was the only designer working at Desert Samaritan Hospital and was unable to finish school. I have worked for many home builders, hospitals, hotels and private projects. I am a member of the International Home Staging Association. I have worked building custom homes, unique commercial projects and special events for the past 30 years.
